GMAP

Give Me a Paw is a no-kill dog shelter dedicated to improving the lives of stray and abandoned dogs across Lebanon.

What began as a personal initiative in 2017 has grown into one of Lebanon’s most trusted dog shelters, driven by a small, dedicated team, supported by passionate volunteers, and strengthened by a growing community of animal advocates.

What we do

Rescue Rehome Lebanon

Rescue & Rehome

We’ve rescued hundreds of animals from violent abuse, severe neglect, injuries, and illness.

To expand our impact, we also support dozens of independent activists with guidance and medical expenses.

In parallel, we work tirelessly to find loving homes for our rescues in Lebanon and abroad, and have since successfully rehomed a total of 1,000+ dogs.

Feeding & TNR Program

Over 300 street animals rely on our Feeding Program for daily nourishment and a moment of kindness.

While in the field, we monitor their health, administer medication, and carry out castrations to reduce suffering long-term.

Our ongoing TNR (Trap Neuter Return) campaign is fully funded and open to individual rescuers. We cover castration and essential veterinary care for stray dogs and cats across Lebanon.

Community support Lebanon

Community outreach & support

At GMAP, supporting our community is central to everything we do.

We regularly assist guardians and activists at vet clinics, helping cover medical costs for animals in need. Since the 2019 economic crisis, we’ve supported hundreds of families by providing food and medicine, helping prevent abandonment before it happens.

Our active social media presence allows us to offer daily advice, respond to urgent requests, and amplify the efforts of others, whether it’s a lost pet, a rescue case, or a rehoming request.

Education & Prevention

As our shelter grows, we’re placing greater focus on awareness and prevention.

We regularly visit schools to lead educational sessions about dog behavior, care, and safety. For many children, it’s their first positive interaction with a dog and a powerful step toward building empathy and understanding.

Our goal is to nurture compassion from a young age and help shape a more humane future for dogs in Lebanon. Read more
