GMAP is run entirely with the support of volunteers
Our team is small and overworked, and we’re not able to catch up with everything that needs to be done. We can always do better with the quality of life of our resident dogs and there are so many more animals that need help.
We want to do more, and we need to grow our team to do that.
Social media spokesperson
We get a LOT of messages and DMs. Help us be more active and manage our communication on social.
We need someone who can be active regularly and has excellent English & a good eye for typos! Proficiency in Arabic would be great too.

Charity shop logistics manager
The Charity Shop is one of the most important elements for GMAP and our future, because it’s our only self-sufficient income.
We need help managing our orders and deliveries for our charity shop. We need someone who is organized, and can take coordinate between shipping, customers, and suppliers.

Marketing Volunteers
We need help to spread our message far and wide and get more people involved in our GMAP mission and community.
We need someone who can be part of a team and can coordinate with our Marketing Manager. Ideally someone who can create visuals and graphics independently and has some knowledge of digital marketing.

Outreach & partnerships
We need to create more partnerships with shelters, NGOs, and organizations abroad and in Lebanon.
This is a big role as we need someone who can be professional and organized and the face of GMAP. We need help creating a database and reaching out to organizations to create more partnerships (to send dogs abroad, get veterinary support, etc.)
Fluency in English is necessary.

Fundraiser & Events planner
We want to create more events and fundraisers in the future and we need someone who can be in charge of everything, from ideation to implementation.
This is a fun role where you can see your ideas come to life and have a big impact on our fundraising.
We need someone who is organized and reliable, who can create partnerships and manage everything.

Delivery & Transportation
We always need help picking up and delivering food, medicine, and of course dogs! We need someone who has a car (ideally a 4×4) and is comfortable with dogs.
Most drives will be from our base in Baabda/Ras el Matn to Beirut but also occasionally from other places in Lebanon to pick up new rescues.
This role will be compensated and gas will be covered.

Shelter day volunteers
Our dogs need love! Almost all our dogs crave human interaction and want cuddles, playtime and walks.
Come spend the day at our shelter in the beautiful pine forest in Ras el Matn, and give our dogs some quality human interaction. We can organize walks around the area and down to the river, or just spend your time cuddling, grooming, and playing with them.

Things you should know before visiting the shelter:
-You need a 4×4 to get to us, there is an off road drive to the shelter. Or you can carpool with us from Baabda but you need to let us know in advance to book you a seat!
-Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, and getting a change outfit is recommended
-Treats, toys, and food are always welcome!
