Shelter day every saturday
Our dogs need love! Almost all our dogs crave human interaction and want cuddles, playtime and walks.
Come spend the day at our shelter in the beautiful pine forest below Ras el Matn, and give our dogs some quality human interaction. We can organize walks around the area and down to the river, or just spend your time cuddling, grooming, and playing with them.
We welcome everyone every Saturday from 11 pm – 5 pm. Just contact us on social media or send an email to hello@givemeapawlb.org for exact location.
Things you should know before visiting the shelter:
-You need a 4×4 to get to us, there is an off road drive to the shelter. However, you can park your car at the beginning of the off road and walk towards the shelter. It’s a 20 minute easy walk, in the middle of a beautiful forest next to a river!
-Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, as the dogs will be giving you lots of hugs and kisses!
-Treats, toys, food and any donations are always welcome!

Dogtober camp&fest
We gathered on the beach for an outdoor movie screening, runway for the shelter dogs, a garage sale, and food stands. We then camped and enjoyed meeting amazing people and dogs around the bonfires! Truly, a magical night!

We asked for volunteers to accompany every single dog at the shelter for a hike! Every single dog had their human for a day, we all walked in the forest surrounding the shelter!

Beach day out
Shelter dogs should experience the beach as well! We rented a bus, and off we went for a fun day with ALL the shelter dogs! Of course, we asked for volunteers to “adopt” a dog for the day, and fully take care of them on that day.
