Who Are We?

Our Mission

We are an officially registered Lebanese NGO and dog shelter with over 100 dogs at our facility. Our main mission is to rescue and rehabilitate stray dogs, as well as to raise awareness about their plight in the country. Our other goals include inspiring passion within the public for animals and their welfare as well as a deep respect for nature and wildlife. We aim to have a country and a world where every stray is fed, treated, and eventually adopted into a loving home, because it’s hard to be hungry, hurt, and homeless.

Our first shelter May 2017

Our Journey

In May 2017, we took a personal initiative and founded a dog shelter. Since then we have grown from a small group of dedicated animal lovers into a large community. Our shelter has grown from being a small backyard initiative into a 4000 m2 space and our shelter has been a safe home for more than 500 dogs to date.

Our Shelter

Our shelter consists of a spacious indoor areas where the dogs sleep safe from the heat, cold, and rain – and 5 big outdoor playgrounds where they can run and play as much as they want. We are a cage free, all day roaming shelter. Our dogs are free to enjoy their day doing whatever they like. We also have a quarantine area, and isolated areas for new comers, and sick dogs.  Our shelter is surrounded by a beautiful forest which we take advantage of by walking the dogs and organizing dog walks! We also have a river for the dogs to swim in! It is a very calm area, perfect for a temporary home for dogs until they get adopted!
